Reader Reviews
Wizzle Worries follows Wizzle, a charming and slightly anxious creature who finds himself overwhelmed by various worries and fears. The author does an excellent job of using relatable situations and gentle language to make complex emotions understandable for children. This is by far one of my favorite books of all and a must read for all.
What struck me most was the brilliant concept of leaving the pages blank for readers to illustrate. I'm a teacher, and I had the chance to use this book during a summer writing camp lesson with children. As they constructed their OWN images, the story became one that reflected their OWN experiences, identities, and spaces they live in.
