If you already have read Discovery in the Woods, Room for One More, and Leprechauns in Disguise, then you’re ready for this one. There are so many parts of being a friend, and Forever Friends talks about them all.

In this story, I talk about Ireland and some of the beautiful things I saw when I visited there. I’ll never forget the leprechaun crossing sign, or the enormous castle that sat high on a hill. The fields are a hundred shades of green and sheep are everywhere...

When I wrote this book, I laughed out loud remembering how funny Mr. McAllister was. He got into the craziest messes (especially in this book) and he made me happy just being around him. It’s good to have a friend who makes you laugh...

As funny as these adventures are, there are also some parts that are more serious. I hope you will take time to search out those parts and talk about them with other friends or your teacher or an adult at home...

I hope you have enjoyed the other books, now get started on this one. I can guarantee that you’ll laugh until your stomach hurts in some parts! And when you’re all done, please try writing a story of your own. Words are like toys – they’re so fun to play with, and build with. Go ahead, create a masterpiece!

Reader Reviews

I love this series for so many reasons, and each of them are at work inside this final, touching tale. Readers will be smiling through their tears as they wave goodbye to Mr. McAllister while tucking an important lesson into their hearts: Distance never separates the truest of friends, and the truest of friends never distance themselves from one another, even as new adventures invite them to travel different paths.

– Angela S.

Leprechauns are NOT just for St. Patrick's Day. Sandy Barton proves it once again in her last Mr. McAllister book. A message of true friendship, this book is sure to please readers of all ages.

– Robert
